Welcome to Low-Calorie Diet.com — A site to help you lose weight and enjoy a healthy life.

My name is Tory McBroom (that’s me all the way on the right) and through this website I have turned something that was once just a hobby into a passion.  A passion that includes meticulous research, testing and sifting through loads of misinformation to find those golden nuggets of truth in the nutrition and dieting world.

The goal of this blog isn’t to get every reader to follow a strict low-calorie diet, but rather to instill healthy habits into those looking to lose weight and/or improve their health.  That’s the real secret to weight loss!  In other words:

Make permanent, healthy changes to your lifestyle, not temporary changes to your diet.

And that’s exactly what I intend to help you do with this blog!  Just about everything you need to know about effectively losing and controlling weight and improving your health through proper diet and nutrition can be found on this site – for FREE! I also offer a free ebook that basically compiles everything worth knowing on this site (and a little more) and organizes into a nice and neat program you can use to effectively lose weight and feel great.  Learn more about it here.

Why low-Calorie Diet.com?
A good question with a very simple answer – I chose Low-Calorie Diet.com because in order to effectively lose weight you must burn more calories than you consume.  It’s as simple as that.  That’s the only way to lose body weight. So you must lower your caloric intake ( I also encourage regular exercise) by following an effective low calorie diet plan.  In fact recent studies show that no matter what diet plan you follow, the only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you consume.  There’s no reason to cut out any macronutrients out of your diet, such as carbs or fat.  In fact, you need plenty of protein, carb and fats to maintain a healthy diet.

I should mention that I’m not talking about a very low-calorie diet  which involves cutting an extreme amount of calories from your diet, but rather implementing small, simple and healthy changes to your daily diet and routine.
