Whole wheat pita’s are a great way to add a little variety to your diet. You can use them as a healthy pizza crust, flatbread appetizers, as an alternative to hot or cold sandwiches, etc.
There are many different brands of whole wheat pita’s available with one of the popular options being Weight Watchers 100 percent Whole Wheat Pita Pockets. This particular brand has only 100 calories, zero grams trans fat and 9 grams of fiber in each pocket.
Best of all, pita’s are relatively cheap coming in at roughly $1.50 for 6 (which I’ve seen at Trader Joe’s).
