I do 1,000 crunches a day but I still can’t see my abs. What gives?

Q: I do 1,000 crunches every day, but I still can’t see my lower abs.  What do I have to do to get a six-pack abs?

A: You have a six-pack abs, there just hidden under the layer of fat on your stomach!  Doing a thousand crunches a day will not guarantee you a six-pack.  The only way to reach your goal is to create a calorie deficit, either through consuming less calories, burning more calories through exercise – or a combination of the two!  You might want to try cutting back on the amount of ab work you do and concentrate more on intense calorie burning cardio.  Plus, take a close look at your diet.  You might want to try cutting out a few calories for a few weeks and see if that helps give you the results you are looking for.
